Position Summary

The Leadership Academy is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Montessori Teachers to serve Lower Elementary and/or Upper Elementary students. The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, hands-on learning, and creating a prepared environment that fosters independence, curiosity, responsibility, and academic excellence. This educator will guide students through individualized learning experiences while building a respectful and engaging classroom communities.

Essential Responsibilities

* Create and maintain a Montessori classroom environment that supports independence, exploration, and academic growth.
* Deliver engaging instruction aligned with Montessori philosophy and curriculum expectations.
* Guide students in individualized and small-group learning experiences across core subject areas.
* Observe student progress and maintain accurate academic and behavioral records.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Foster a positive classroom culture built on respect, responsibility, and collaboration.
* Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth, progress, and classroom activities.
* Collaborate with administrators, support staff, and colleagues to support student success.
* Maintain classroom materials and ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
* Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events as required.

Work Schedule

Full-time, school calendar position.

Requirements: Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
* Valid teaching certification preferred or ability to obtain certification, if 
required.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Commitment to student growth and Montessori educational principles.

Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of child development and elementary learning progression.
* Ability to build strong relationships with students and families.
* Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) preferred.
* Experience teaching Lower Elementary (ages 6–9) and/or Upper 
Elementary (ages 9–12) preferred.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Collaborative mindset and professional demeanor.
