Samantha Streak is the founding head of The Port Elizabeth Montessori School which opened in January 1995. She received her 0-6 diploma and 6-12 diploma through the London Montessori Centre between 1991 and 1993. Samantha has a B.Psych and M.Ed (Educational Leadership). She has currently paused her PhD and remains committed to completing this, with a focus on Dignity and Mattering for Educators. Samantha has been actively involved in the Montessori community within Southern Africa for over 30 years and has served as the president of the South African Montessori Association. She has presented at national and internationals conferences and represented Montessori education in South Africa globally. She completed the AMI Administrator Course in 2021 and AMI Orientation Certificate for Adolescents in 2025. Samantha is a graduate of Brockwood Park Krishnamurti School where her passion for authentic and meaningful education was ignited.
