Position Title: Montessori Lead Teachers
Job Description: Doecreek Montessori (Little Elm)and Acepire Montessori (Frisco)are looking for Montessori Lead Guides for Pre-Primary (2-3yrs) and Primary (3-6yrs )classes .
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum for children in the 3-6-year-olds.- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
- Create engaging and educational activities to promote child development
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate lesson plans and activities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant information
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development for Montessori. Must have Montessori Certification.
- Experience in preschool or childcare settings
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Understanding of child welfare regulations and best practices
- Excellent classroom management skills to engage and educate young children
- Ability to promote literacy education through age-appropriate activities
- Experience working with diverse groups of children, including those with special needs
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
