Position Title: Lead Primary Teacher

Job Description: Lead Teachers develop lessons for and guide children through the scope and sequence of the Montessori curriculum. Teachers will keep student records up to date in Transparent Classroom and communicate with parents through newsletters, email, and parent-teacher conferences. Helping parents understand child development and Montessori philosophy as it applies to children by engaging in parent nights and conversations is essential.

Requirements: Lead Teachers are required to have Montessori Early Childhood (3-6) certification. Professional development of 30 hours per year as required by the DOE.
