Position Title: Primary Lead Teacher | Toddler Teacher | School Age/After-School Teacher & Driver | Substitute/Float Teacher
Job Description: Best Kids Academy Montessori is located in Katy, Texas 77450, and we are currently seeking dependable, caring educators to join our Montessori school community.

Current Opportunities:
Primary Lead Teacher – Montessori 3–6
Monday–Friday
Part-time or full-time opportunities may be available based on experience and school needs
Montessori Early Childhood/Primary (ages 3–6) credential strongly preferred
Experience independently leading a Montessori Primary classroom preferred
Responsible for the Montessori work cycle, lesson presentations, classroom environment, student progress, and parent communication
Consistent and dependable availability during Best Kids Academy’s operating calendar is required, including days when local public schools may be closed but our program remains open
Seeking a collaborative, flexible educator interested in a consistent, long-term position
Toddler Teacher – Part-Time Afternoon
Monday–Friday, approximately 2:00–6:30 PM
Experience working with children ages 18 months–3 years preferred
Montessori experience or training is a plus
Must be nurturing and comfortable supporting classroom routines, independence, and development
School Age / After-School Teacher & Driver
Monday–Friday, approximately 2:30–6:30 PM during the school year
Works with children approximately ages 6–11
Supports school pickup, homework, enrichment activities, supervision, and dismissal
Must be willing and able to drive a 14-passenger school vehicle
Transitions to full-time hours, approximately 8:30 AM–5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break, during summer and seasonal school-break weeks
Must be available for both the regular after-school schedule and full-time summer/break schedule
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Must meet school vehicle insurance and driver eligibility requirements
Substitute / Float Teacher
Flexible/on-call classroom support
May assist Toddler, Primary, or School Age classrooms depending on experience
Opportunities for additional hours as coverage needs arise
Montessori experience is a plus
Candidates able to assist with school transportation are especially encouraged to apply
Basic Requirements for All Positions
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Eligible to work in the United States
Able to complete all required Texas childcare background checks/fingerprinting
Able to meet applicable Texas childcare licensing and training requirements
Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain required certification
Reliable transportation to and from work
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and consistent availability
Ability to safely supervise children and actively participate in classroom routines
Professional communication with children, families, and coworkers
Ability to follow school safety, supervision, confidentiality, and child-guidance procedures
