Position Title: Primary Lead (ages 3-6)

Job Description: The Lead Primary Montessori Teacher is responsible for guiding children ages 3–6 in a thoughtfully prepared Montessori environment that fosters independence, concentration, and a love of learning. The teacher serves as both a steward of the classroom and a model of respect, calm leadership, and purposeful work. 

Responsibilities include:
-Prepare and maintain the Montessori classroom
- Present lessons and observe student development
-Support a peaceful, respectful classroom culture
-Communicate with families and collaborate with staff
-Lead and guide classroom assistants

Requirements: -Montessori Primary Certification or in progress and ready for a mentor.
-Certification must be MACTE, AMS, AMI or any other Louisiana approved Montessori training. 
- one year minimum experience in a Montessori school preferred
- must meet requirements to hold an ancillary teaching certificate in the state of Louisiana
