Job Description: The Upper Elementary Montessori Trained Lead guides students through hands-on, student-centered learning that promotes independence, responsibility, and a love of learning. The teacher demonstrates a deep commitment to authentic Montessori practice and works collaboratively within a supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities
-Guide students in a prepared Montessori environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
-Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and needs.
-Interact respectfully with each child, honoring their dignity and individuality.
-Collaborate with the assistant teacher and faculty to support lesson planning, classroom management, and student development.
-Build positive, cooperative relationships with families and encourage their involvement. -Attend faculty meetings and professional development days.
-Maintain confidentiality and support students during daily transitions, including arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess.

Requirements: AMI Elementary (6–12) or AMS Montessori Elementary II (9–12) certification; other MACTE-accredited trainings considered
-Bachelor’s degree required
-Upper Elementary teaching experience strongly preferred
-Texas teaching license encouraged Position Details Full-time
