Position Title: Primary Teacher

Job Description: Anami Montessori School, in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an AMI-trained primary teacher for the 2026-27 school year. If you would like to teach the way you were trained, this may be the school for you! 

Anami is a privately owned AMI school with AMI-trained founder/director. Its wooded campus backs onto a 120-acre county park. Anami has two primary classes and one 6-12 
elementary class, all well-established and led by teachers dedicated to carrying out Dr. Montessori’s principles. Each fully stocked classroom has an ample annual materials 
budget. After 40 years of serving children and staying true to AMI principles, Anami is proud to be a diverse, nurturing and close-knit community. 

With a temperate climate, Charlotte is culturally diverse, within an easy drive of either the mountains or the beach, is home to a large international airport, and has an outdoor minded population.

Requirements: A successful candidate is dedicated, a hard-working team player, and should be able to operate in the classroom without undue supervision. Prior experience, facility in speaking Spanish, and a sense of humor would also be a plus.
