Jess Fraley, M.Ed.
AMI 3-6 Trainer
Jess Fraley is an AMI 3–6 Trainer whose work centers on the transformative role of education for both children and adults. She is deeply interested in how the preparation of the adult shapes child development and she has participated in the Montessori Awareness Practice pilot program. Through this work, Jess has explored the role of mindfulness, awareness, and reflection in cultivating environments for human flourishing. With a deep belief in the healing potential of Montessori pedagogy, she integrates Anti-Bias Education goals into her work with the commitment to learn from diverse cultural and educational traditions. She strives to create environments that nurture belonging, agency, and the lifelong process of becoming.
Drawing on more than a decade of classroom experience in public and private Montessori settings, Jess bridges practical classroom experience with the thoughtful preparation of Montessori adults. In addition to her training work, her service in administrative leadership and training center operations has given her a broad understanding of the organizational ecosystems that support high-quality adult learning and professional development. This perspective informs her commitment to creating training experiences that are both rigorous and responsive to the needs of adult learners.
Jess holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from William Paterson University, a Master of Education from Loyola University, and an AMI Primary Diploma. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, two children, and their beloved pets. In her free time, Jess enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and hiking.
