6-12 Orientation Course

Discover Dr. Montessori’s approach to education for children in the Elementary years (grades 1–6). This course is designed for classroom assistants, teachers, administrators, school support staff, parents, and anyone interested in understanding and supporting the development of children during these exciting and formative years.

Through a combination of live online sessions and self-paced study, participants will explore Montessori philosophy and practice in depth. You will engage with theory lectures, classroom videos, examples of Montessori materials in action, and hands-on activities. Guided readings, discussions, and targeted assignments will help you connect Montessori principles to real-world practice, providing both a solid foundation in Montessori education and practical strategies for working with Elementary-aged children.

This course is an excellent starting point for anyone considering the AMI 6–12 Diploma Course. Participants who successfully complete all requirements will receive the AMI 6–12 Orientation Course Certificate. Graduates are also eligible for discounted tuition on future MINT courses through the Alumni Continuing Education Scholarship Fund, supporting ongoing growth as a Montessori educator.
