The Power of the Prepared Environment
(For MINT Primary Graduates)
with Kim Altmeyer
For MINT Primary Course Graduates
Please join us at MINT on Saturday, January 31, 2015 for a discussion on "The Power of the Prepared Environment" with Kim Altmeyer, long-time Primary guide and AMI Primary course assistant.
Every teacher, new or old, has faced the challenge of preparing an environment. It can sometimes seem like an overwhelming task! We keep in mind what we learned from our training, while taking stock of what furniture we have and where the bathrooms and doors are located. Any environment, whether indoors or outdoors, should be looked at with the young child and his needs at the forefront of our minds. Sometimes by making small changes to the physical environment we can solve other problems as well!
If your environment has certain "challenges," or if you would like suggestions on how to resolve a nuisance, please email pictures and a brief description of the situation and we will work together to offer ideas.
Registration is $20 for advance registration and $25 for at-the-door registration, payable by PayPal or at the door by check or cash.
Out-of-towners who would like to help test our new webinar capability should contact MINT at 214-503-6802. A limited number of on-line participants can be accommodated.
