Requirements
MINT students are invited to obtain graduate credit for their Montessori training through The Institute for Educational Studies (TIES) at Endicott College, an internationally recognized Montessori graduate program. Endicott College is located in Beverly, Massachusetts, just north of Boston. Established in 1996 this program is a forerunner in online education.
To earn your M.Ed. requires simultaneous enrollment at MINT and Endicott; and 36 credits, many of which are covered in your training course. Please visit the program website at www.ties-edu.org. The descriptions here do not specifically address this joint enrollment program but do provide insight into the context of the program - especially student commentaries. This is also where you will find the online graduate school application.
There are two options for MINT students:
- Those enrolled in the academic year program that begins in Fall 2013 matriculate for the M.Ed. in March 2014. This means Applications need to be completed by December 15, 2013. Your online courses begin in September 2014, following MINT graduation. The 2013-2014 tuition for the academic year format is $900 for the first semester and $3950* for each of the next three semesters.
- Those enrolled in the three-summer program that begins Summer 2014 matriculate for the M.Ed. in September 2014 following their first summer at MINT and their Applications need to be completed by July 15, 2014. The summer format requires very linited coursework during the interim academic year and completes with a five months course of study following MINT graduation. The 2013-2014 tuition for the summer format is $2550* per semester for five semesters. (We require a minimum of 10 students to run this format.)
There are no required residencies on the physical campus. Credits are earned through Endicott’s innovative eCampus.
Tuition & Federal Financial Aid
The tuition for the above is $1950 per semester for five semesters.
Enrollment through Endicott College entitles students to apply for Federally Financed Student Loans.
