Job Description: 

We are growing! Our farm-based Montessori School in the Northwestern Catskills of New York currently has availability in our second toddler (18-36 mos) classroom and are looking to hire an AMI diploma trained - or undergoing training - Lead Guide. We have our wonderful assistants and students and are now waiting for the right leader and guide! We are also looking for an Infant Lead Guide for our brand-new Infant classroom opening this fall 2024!

We are continuing to build an authentic, AMI Montessori school for ages 8 weeks - 18 years, on a 50-acre, future permaculture farm in the beautiful hamlet of Bovina Center, NY. We put emphasis on four core aspects that reflect our geographical region: nature conservation, the arts, sustainable farming/living, and entrepreneurship, through outdoor activities, work on the farm, and experiences in our beautiful natural surroundings.

Requirements: 

Guides will be hired based on a combination of qualifications including, but not limited to: work history, life experience, skill level, education, and a passion to help us grow in our vision. All Lead Guides need a minimum of BA or MA, and preferably a completed AMI Diploma (full scholarships for diploma training available to the right candidate if undergoing training).
