Trainer-in-Training

Gena has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History and a Master of Arts degree in Education. Gena is a graduate of Sion Hill College, Dublin where she did her 3-6 training with Mary Hayes in 1982. She began studying to be an adolescent practitioner in 1996 with David Khan, Peter Gebhardt-Seele, Margaret Stephenson, and others and has been working with adolescent training programs ever since. Gena is currently in the Trainer of Trainers Program for 12-18 and is working with Tina Booth as a presenter and advisor for the 12-15 Diploma Course offered by Train Montessori. Gena is a graduate of MINT’s Core Principles Course. She holds public school teaching and administrative credentials and has over twenty years’ of experience teaching and administrating programs in public Montessori schools.
