Assistants to Infancy (0-3) Assistants Course
July 20 - 31, 2015
The AMI Assistants Course for Assistants to Infancy (birth to age 3) was offered in Dallas summer 2015, with AMI Auxiliary Trainer Sharlyn Smith!
This 60-hour course is an introduction to Dr. Montessori's educational theory and practice with children under the age of three - for classroom assistants, teachers, administrators, parent educators, parents, parents-to-be, nannies, doulas and anyone interested in human development in the critical first years of life.
Through lectures, discussion, observation, and targeted assignments participants will complete the course with a solid introduction to the Montessori Philosophy, as well as practical suggestions for implementation in the home and school settings. The course is an ideal foundation for those who may be interested in taking the AMI Assistants to Infancy training (for birth to age 3). Participants who meet course requirements are eligible for the AMI Assistants to Infancy (0 to 3) Assistants Course Certificate.
