Assistants Course for Assistants to Infancy (0-3)
June 26 - July 7, 2017
Announcing the Assistants Course for Assistants to Infancy (birth to age 3) to be offered in Dallas next summer (2017), with AMI Auxiliary Trainer Merry Hadden!
This 60-hour course is an introduction to Dr. Montessori's educational theory and practice with children under the age of three - for classroom assistants, teachers, administrators, parent educators, parents, parents-to-be, nannies, doulas and anyone interested in human development in the critical first years of life.
Through lectures, discussion, observation, and targeted assignments participants will complete the course with a solid introduction to the Montessori Philosophy, as well as practical suggestions for implementation in the home and school settings, including focus on home visiting. The course is an ideal foundation for those who may be interested in taking the AMI Assistants to Infancy training (for birth to age 3). Participants who meet course requirements are eligible for the AMI Assistants to Infancy (0 to 3) Assistants Course Certificate.
